Sorry for not keeping a better update with this session of camp. Lots of things going on, and a HEAP of distractions – just seemed like I barely get going then **poof** …
Here’s how my words counts have been ... so far:
July 1st – 1373
July 2nd – 1113
July 3rd – 762
July 4th – 810
July 5th – 824
July 6th – 2303
July 7th – 1762
July 8th – 4673 (best day of the whole session)
July 9th – 717
July 10th – 0 (this was a payday, and after running errands – too tired to think)
July 11th – 2309
July 12th – 1431
July 13th – 1973
July 14th – 798
July 15th – 816
July 16th – 567
July 17th to July 20th – 0 (we had appointments and were also doing some “organizing” around the house)
July 21st – 2393
July 22nd – 773
July 23rd – 1189
July 24th – 0 (another payday and errands)
July 25th – 1009
July 26th – 371
The original goal was 20,000 – I increased it to 25,000 which I “won” on the 22nd. Right now I have about 2034 words remaining before I hit 30,000 – that isn’t too bad. Since I have today, the 29th, 30th, and 31st ... that's roughly less than 1000 words per day. Actually it's about 509 words per day ... so I really think I can do this!
Nowhere NEAR where I want to be and am capable of, but it's better than nothing. I have to keep that mindset. Hoping for a decent word count today and hoping to end the session at 30,000.
After this? I have a few months before NaNoWriMo – and I can use the rest. But, it helps get me ready for the big month and what I'm hoping will be an awesome word count!
