Writingville--New App In My Life :) -- Part 5

This year hasn't been without tragedy. Last month my aunt died suddenly and that really gave me a new perspective on what I wanted to do with my time. I took a trip to one of my hometowns, and I think it forever changed me. Maybe it has to do with the fact I re-connected with my family, my roots, and my history.

I have always been who I am, I just needed to find myself and come out of hiding.


Today I barely play three apps on Facebook, and mainly check in to get my "money" or prizes. And, yes, I am happy with my new "app-reduced" life.

I feel more in control of my time. I have gained back what is important to me...my writing. With everything I have gone through in my life, my writing has brought me peace and solace, and I don't want to neglect it again.

If anything, it will likely lead me to the next phase of my life :)
